O!karte: who have something to say!
O!Karte is for those who have something to say.
O!Karte offers a stage and a gallery for anybody willing to express themselves.
O!Karte has already supported several new musicians and artists.
Anyone can get on the O!Karte stage and in to O!Karte gallery. You can, too! As long as you have something to say!
O!Stage
O!Stage is a place for those who have something to say. Here, you can express yourself and see how others do it. If you can sing, play or dance, there is no doubt that you have to get on the O!Karte Stage! Submit your work and it is possible that your song, performance or dance will be chosen for a video clip and you will be put on the air.
O!Gallery
O!Gallery is a place for those who have something to say. Here, you can express yourself and see how others do it. If you can draw, paint, graffiti, take pictures or visualise your ideas in any other way, there is no doubt that you have to be in the O!Karte Gallery. Submit your work and it might be chosen to grace outdoor stands around the city.
O!Talents:
O!Talents are the artists whose entries are recognised and assessed. Video/audio entries of these authors are chosen for a video clip and they are broadcast, but visual entries are exhibited in the city environment.
O!Talents are chosen by the experts in cooperation with O!Karte representatives. These are authors whose entries have never been in any of the expert’s TOP20 or among TOP20 most popular or viewer voted entries. One author can enter several entries and more than one of his or her entries can be on the chart. Therefore both of the following have chances to appear on stage – the favourite authors (the more votes, the greater the chance to make the most popular TOP20 entries chart), as well as other authors, whose entries among the many uploaded have been found and assessed by experts well known in Latvia.
Experts TOP20:
All entries that get make the expert chart are commented and receive recognition stamp on the work.
From time to time experts change, and from all the uploaded entries every new expert compiles his or her own chart. Therefore, if you have not managed to make the chart of one expert, you still have chances to make another expert’s chart.
The Expert chart is updated, if any of the recently uploaded entries seems more exciting than others already in the chart.
Most Popular TOP20:
Every month the most popular TOP20 is compiled. The most popular TOP20 entries in O!Stage is formed from the 20 most popular O!Stage entries; in O!Gallery – from 20 most popular O!Gallery entries. The chart from the previous month is archived, and in the next month the voting starts over again.
